The software on my website decided to be difficult, so I wasn’t able to add all the photos of Malta that I wanted to share.
For the initial set, please check out Marvelous Malta.
Here are the rest, enjoy.
BTW, the sun’s come out here in The Hague so obviously the pictures have worked their charm.
I’ve got to figure out a way to get back there ASAP!

Really looks like my kind of place! The towns look fascinating – like fairy tale places. Is it very expensive there?
Compared to western Europe I’d say it’s fairly reasonable to visit. Food and goods would be more expensive as it’s an island, so most things imported. Housing construction continues although in/around Valletta it’s carefully limited. Staying out in the countryside would be relaxing and a bit less expensive. Very relaxed, friendly feeling overall.
Wa hey! Lovely photos which make me realise you probably saw the best the isalnd has to offer – well done!
Why thank you, glad you liked seeing a little slice of home. We never did make it to Gozo to see the various temples or to Comino for the nature reserve/bird sanctuary, so there’s always an excuse to go back
You say want to get back there asap, maybe a move?!!:) Adventures from Maltaland!
Wouldn’t that be fun! But I’d miss Nederland, without a doubt
Gorgeous photos, the pics of Valetta & Mdina transport me back in time to the early days of my relationship with K – those lazy, unhurried, indulgent times before children.
You must go back and take the ferry to Gozo. Rabat – now called Victoria – is beautiful with it’s old citadel and large rotunda church visible from almost all the surrounding towns and villages.
Everywhere you look, the scene paints pictures of the past with cannons and fortifications filling the imagination with Corsairs and Knights Templar! And visits to the Inland Sea and the Azure Window will give you more beautiful photos from me to muse over
Thanks for the memories!
Poor Husband, when he comes home tonight he will be besieged with cries of ‘we MUST return to Malta, we haven’t seen Gozo!’ It sounds wonderful, and a return trip would be such a treat. Just not sure when we’ll get there, but someday… Thanks Aisha
